here's another one..and another one... the poor hotel staff must be wondering what the heck is going on.... I sure didn't realize all the teams were going to be dressed up... I thought it was just us deciding to be angels...Now there are cops coming down... cop uniforms complete with hats, guns, holsters, handcuffs...tsomehow i don't remember seeing lady officers in mini skirts....man, they went all out.... there's no way i am walking to the restaurant by myself without custome.... I take a few pics, and then i head back upstairs to wait on my roommate....
We are on our way to the restaurant... with blue, black, and white wings...some are wearing halos.... we see some cowgirls/boys...and indians... these customes are so authentic.... man, these Irish people sure do go all out..... It's a little walk to the restaurant and you guessed it, everyone is looking at us like what the heck is going on... i am sure this is not a signt they see often.... We get to restaurant, and apparently we rented out the entire restaurant.... some of our group is sitting on the balcony, so we head on upstairs....Let the food begin as we are starving....
Oh yeah, and we need beer...Irish can't do anything without beer....Where's Stephen, Vincent and others? Ahhh...they are already at McCawley's.... geting an early start on the drinking....
The restaurant is bustling with activity, as the rest of the customed guests arrive... we have tables of cowgirls, cowboys, cops, indians, angels and devils..These are all the teams that participated in the Gaelic games...all teams from parts of China...Didn't know until tonight there are so many Irish folks in China...also found out, that tons of Chinese people also did stints living in Ireland...i think someone mentioned different countries in Europe giving visas to the Chinese to come to their country...Some of the members of our football teams are actually in China teaching English..some fresh out of college...others are grownups still trying to figure out what they want to do in life.... The food starts coming, and must say, most of it is good... the lazy susan in the middle of the table keeps spinning as we dive into each plate that we are served...
We had a great time...eating, drinking (not me), taking pics... Looking downstairs, i spotted a cowboy..is that a mini skirt he is wearing..with a tie front shirt? Oh no, he can't be that brave... damn... i sure need a pic of this...

I am talking to someone, and two workers came up, each grabbing an arm, and when i looked up, the third had a camera.... no escape for the freak...picture with the freak...lol...Too bad i didn't have my camera handy to get a pic of them....
Belly full now... heaps of food left on the tables...it's time to head to McCawley's for the after party...
