Japanese Style Dinner

Dinner tonight was at a Japanese restaurant where they cooked the dinner at the table... It was all you could eat for $30...Michael, quite the Chinese speaker, did the ordering based on the pictues in the menue.... It was me, his wife, baby, his mom and Steve.... We were in a room by ourselves... come to think of it, i think that's how the whole restaurant was...separate rooms....

....Babies in public is a rarity in China, so as you can imagine, my coworker's baby is always the sight to be seen! ANd not just seen, they touch, whether u want them to or not... As we were led to our room, you could see all eyes following the carseat, and fingers pointing and mouths going.... Our waitress wasted no time in moving the carseat cover, and poking and touching the baby, while the poor mother is reaching for the hand sanitizer and wet wipes..lol... You don't even get a chance to say, please don't touch...lol...

Paulette actually tried octopus.....just a tiny tiny piece.... i want to say it tasted like chicken gizzard, which by the way we had as well....mi couldn't get over the look of the tentacles, so mi didn't try a bigger piece....mi almost sure mi nah try it again..... mi didn't like the gizzards either, as the sauce they had it in never ready.... when the chef made each dish, im put a portion pon each a wi plate...so no one person had their own food.....we had wings, fried rice wrapped in egg, beef, pork, oysters, sushi, others things mi nuh know........most very good food... u know what mi just realize? dem nuh serve ice with drinks...a guess mi need fi ask next time mi go out...and the drinking class is about the size of a baby sippy cup....and no straw...uummmmhhh....
