Soooo mi had fried rice fi breakfast...and omelette, toast and pastries...There was tons of other thigns to try, but mi wasn't that adventurous.... The omelette was somewhat challenging, as you had to tell them what to put in there.... there were bowls on the counter with the fixings, like escallion, onions, mushrooms, and that's as far as mi could figure out. You was supposed to taste it, and then make u selections based on the taste...Mi skipped the taste test, and went with what i knew...
After breakfast, i ventured out on the road, to find the shopping center to get sneakers.... It was a nice brisk walk..to Mykal. Mykal is like a department store, but more like 4 stories of arcade, Jamaican style....higgler heaven...as everything was made in China..lol.... And this 'made in China', is nothiing compared to the made in China, we get a Merica...Mi pick up some 'Nike' sneakers light like feather....mi still trying to determine the material it made out of.... Nuh ask if mi nuh come home without sneakers...mi couldn't bring miself fi spend so much fi 'made in china'.... I did take some pics of the merchandise...unfortunately, none of the pocketbooks...when mi whipped out the camera, one salesperson start frantically waiving her hands and uttering, 'No, No, 'No'...mi make haste put way the camera fore dem confiscate it....lol...

Now mi understand how foreigners feel when dem come a yard...mi had mi celebrity debut today.... mi was definitely the attraction ina de mall...especially de hair... Them was trying hard not to stare, but when mi made the mistake of going back to take pics of the jamaican looking sweattop and took out the camera, it was all over...Everybody whipped out their camera phone to take pic of the 'freak'...lol.... All some boys mi did see a follow follow me, finally had the courage to ask to take a pic...complete with arms round me..lol....Thank God mi was forewarned by mi coworkers so mi wasn't too shocked....One young girl asked for my phone number, which me kindly gave her the work number in the states...not sure how she going to use it, as mi nuh speak Mandarin, and she nuh speak English...lol....

Walking to and from the mall was a new experience, as you share the sidewalk with the cars.... the sidewalks are wider, almost 1/2 of the road, and the cars park and drive on the sidewalk..there is no space between the doors of the stores, and the parked cars....so mi realize with a quickness, that you need to be careful, as pedetrians no own the sidewalk.....
